Building Problems[]

It started construction very late in early 1989 because the castle had to be built before the coaster can be built, they could not finish it by opening day but tried to, on August 27th, the first test began, which partially failed after the elevator lift stopped working after the car got off it, but it ran otherwise fine, but due to the lift (and later capacity) issues, the POV footage of the ride was shown in the castle TV's from opening day. It opened May 1990, and was dedicated July of that year.

Ride Layout[]

It started to the east of the Main Hall it has an elevator lift to the top, on the fattest and third tallest spire, and does a left turn down into an Airtime hill and into a curl into the drop above the main hall roof into a turn twisting it's way down across the tallest spire into the mid course brake run where it reaches a 89 degree drop, the steepest at the time into a turn into the brake run.

B&M Retrack[]

This was done in 1999 due to the general roughness from the tracks and all the tracks were redone by B&M, the mid course brake run was replaced with a 95 degree dive drop in style of the then new oblivion and other than that, it is respectful to the original coaster.

Closure[]

On September 11, 2001 a plane hit the World Trade Center, which dropped tourist traffic which even with new track, it still costs 500 dollars to operate for a day, which almost leaded Disney and MCOM (the distributor) into Chapter 11 bankruptcy. It became seasonal on March 2, 2002, in which it only operates when max crowds are here and only 1 train except for the ACE (American Coaster Enthusiast) meeting on April 2002. On September 3, 2002 the final ride was given and it was closed for "Refurbishment" The trains were sent to the MCOM Texas Warehouse in Dallas that December and demolition began February 2003, many people noticed it, but Disney simply responds "They are repairing track" but in July 2003, it was confirmed it was closed for ever and demolition capped October 2003, in early 2004, 3 pieces and 2 of the three trains (Except for the third one, which was brought over to ACE) were sent to the Walter Disney Universe Museum. In mid 2004, the rest of the track was sent to Titan at Six Flags Over Texas.
