Goosebumps Most Wanted Experience is a shooting dark ride based on 14 Goosebumps Most Wanted books.

Ride Experience[]

Queue[]

The guests walked into The Goosebumps Alibi HQ and checked 14 villains from Goosebumps Most Wanted books. After that, they went out to Slappy's Secret Meeting, just behind the bookcase near the emergency exit.

Pre-Show[]

Slappy welcomes the guests in The Goosebumps Alibi HQ (or TGAHQ for short), then he shows a safety requirement video about a cart with guns, alongside the rules: no eating, no drinking, no smoking, and no flash photography. After that, he told the guests for when they see a villain in each book you must shoot it. Later, he said, "Karru Marri Odonna Lomo Molonu Karrano".

From the Boarding Station to Planet of the Lawn Gnomes[]

The cart left the boarding station and heads into The Fourteen Stories of Most Wanted Alibis. Slappy told the guests, that the first story is called "Planet of the Lawn Gnomes". Slappy said "Karru Marri Odonna Lomo Molonu Karrano", after that, the cart went into the gate of the first story called "Planet of the Lawn Gnomes". When the gate opens, Slappy says, "Cock your guns!"

Jay Gardener is a trouble maker who has recently moved to a new house. He tries to pull a prank on the mean neighbor Mr. McClatchy when he notices that every house has a creepy looking lawn gnome in front of it. Before he can finish his prank, he is caught by McClatchy, who had been watching him the whole time. Jay's father scolds him, saying he hasn't been acting like himself lately. He goes for a bike ride and literally bumps into a kid named Elliot. He asks him about the gnomes and he only says "Oh, you know".

They go to a local quicksand pit called the Quagmire, which turns out to have dangerous fish creatures in it. Elliot falls in but Jay manages to rescue him but loses his bike in the process. After being scolded by his father for losing his bike, Jay takes his dog, Mr. Phineas, out for a walk. The dog gets loose and gets into traffic, causing a car accident. Jay asks the driver of the crashed car if he's okay and he only repeatedly says "Malfunction". Two cops appear and take the man away.

On the way home, Mr. Phineas gets into Mr. McClatchy's yard and the neighbor kicks the dog, which angers Jay. He swears revenge and that night he sneaks onto his yard and tries to vandalize his lawn gnomes. But before he can finish, the gnome comes to life and grabs his arm. The others come to life and take out a big marker to draw an "M" on his forehead. They start saying "Malfunction", just like the driver.

Jay escapes and tells his dad about what happened but he only scolds him for going outside and is not surprised that the gnomes chased him, but doesn't say more on the matter. The next morning, Jay tells Elliot about the previous night, but much like the dad, he acts like it was perfectly normal.

They talk more about why Jay's dad is on his case and Jay reveals that he had to move because he burned down his old house. He was messing with his chemicals when he accidentally created a big fire. Because he is known as a big trouble maker, everyone, even the judge at the children's court, believed he did it on purpose. She agreed to drop the charges if they moved away, which they did. Jay has been trying to be extra good in this town, but it has been hard for him.

That night, he sneaks out to find out what is up with the lawn gnomes, much to the protest of his younger sister Kayla. He drags Elliot along with him. Before they can do anything, the lawn gnomes come alive and form a circle around them, again repeating "Malfunction". They pick up the kids and carry them away, as Elliot reveals it's the gnome's world at night, and Jay should stop pretending he doesn't know this. They freeze in the light, so Jay uses a light stick he had created to subdue them.

It also causes Elliot to faint, and when Jay tries to help him, his arm comes off and Elliot repeatedly says "Malfunction". The light goes out, so the lawn gnomes spring back to life and take him to the Quagmire. Kayla walks up and Jay pleads for help. She tells him she can't help him, as she reveals she is only his imaginary sister. She then fades away,

The gnomes throw him into the dangerous quicksand, only to rescue him with a net. Mom, Dad, Mr. McClatchy, and Elliot then appear and tell Jay that they did this to reset his programming. They ask him for his name and where he lives and he tells him his name is Pul-Mar and he lives on Polovia, Planet of the Lawn Gnomes.

Dad reminds Jay that they are robots (called "Mecha-noids") created by the lawn gnomes that inhabit the planet, so they can do the tasks that the gnomes can't do during the day. One day, Pul-Mar started telling people his name was Jay and that he lived on a made-up planet called Earth. He also started pulling pranks, which isn't in his programming and talked to an imaginary sister, even though they never made a sister-noid. He never moved nor burned down his house, as all the houses on Polovia are made of stumps, which can't burn.

They celebrate getting their robot son back and Pul-Mar goes home only to find Mr. Phineas in his room. The dog talks to him, saying they must go back to Earth.

From Planet of the Lawn Gnomes to Son of Slappy[]

The cart heads into The Fourteen Stories of Most Wanted Alibis. Slappy told the guests, that the second story is called "Son of Slappy". Slappy said "Karru Marri Odonna Lomo Molonu Karrano", after that, the cart went into the gate of the second story called "Son of Slappy". When the gate opens, Slappy says, "Cock your guns!"

Jackson Stander is a kid who tries his best to be as good as possible. His bratty sister Rachel calls him a "goodie-goodie" for this and hates that their parents and teacher constantly want her to be more like Jackson. She keeps trying to get him in trouble, but it always fails.

Jackson volunteers and looks over the kids at the town's Youth Center, which they call the YC. One day, Mom announces that the kids will be visiting their Grandpa Whitman over spring break. Rachel hates him due to his creepy house and collections of weird stuff, while Jackson really likes him and finds his collections to be cool. Soon after they arrive, Grandpa Whitman shows them his latest collection, which is of ventriloquist dummies. One of his dummies is Slappy, but Whitman claims the real Slappy was destroyed long ago and this is only a copy. He has called the copy "Son of Slappy". Grandpa's creepy caretaker Edgar still thinks he's evil but Whitman says he's just superstitious.

A few days later, it's time to leave but when they get home Jackson discovers that Son of Slappy in his suitcase. He assumes Edgar did it to get rid of him. Jackson finds some strange words on a piece of paper in Son of Slappy's pocket but he stops before reading all the words. His friends Mickey and Sticks come in, and after they mock him, Jackson decides to mess with them by claiming he has the real Slappy.

After Rachel comes in and reads the words out loud, Jackson thinks he sees Son of Slappy wink but he assumes he just imagined it. At the YC, the director Mrs. Pearson tells him that the YC is running out of money and that they need Jackson's help with things like a bake sale so that they can raise the funds needed to stay in business. Jackson agrees to come up with an idea to spice up the bake sale.

When he gets home, Son of Slappy comes to life and reveals that he is actually the real Slappy, and the Son of Slappy stuff was just a story Whitman heard. However, Slappy says there is a Son of Slappy: Jackson. Jackson hears a loud chirp, and then he finds himself laughing evilly along with Slappy. The next morning, he assumes it was all just a bad dream.

During art at the YC, Jackson hears the chirp again and finds himself trashing the art room, all while Slappy is cackling in his ear. When the kids come in, he tells them that three dogs came in and trashed the room. During school, Jackson hears the chirp and then takes the answers to an upcoming history test. His teacher Mrs. Hathaway notices it went missing and when Jackson thinks about how he'll get an easy A, he finds himself cackling out loud.

When he gets home, Jackson tries to get rid of Slappy but before he can, he hears the chirp. Then Aunt Ada, Uncle Josh, and Cousin Noah come over for dinner, where Jackson starts insulting everyone. Jackson is sent to his room and he tries to prove to Rachel that Slappy is really alive, but Slappy doesn't do anything. He then hears the chirp and starts insulting her, causing Rachel to run out to tell on him. Slappy then starts choking Jackson as punishment for telling on him.

The next morning, Jackson tries to tell Mom the truth when he hears the chirp and then starts insulting her. He also dumps cereal on Rachel and pours honey on his sweater, claiming that she did it. Due to his current behavior, Mom doesn't believe him and grounds him. During the following week, Slappy doesn't make him do anything so he starts to seem calm enough for his parents to let him go back to the YC.

On his way to Stick's house, Jackson sees a kid who's bike has gotten stuck in the mud. But before he can help him, he hears the chirp and throws the bike. At Stick's house, they start making a batch of cupcakes. But after hearing the chirp, Jackson ruins them. Stick's mom sees this and tells Jackson's parents, who ground him from going go the YC's bake sale and skit show.

On the night of the show, he plans to sneak out as he has figured out how to stop Slappy. He figures out the chirp is coming from the Chirping Chickens game on his gameplay that he carries everywhere, so leaving it home will stop Slappy from controlling him. He takes Slappy to the YC to do a ventriloquist act, but during the act, he hears the chirp. This time it's coming from a canary that they keep at the YC. Slappy starts making rude jokes and then bites a kid's hand. In the chaos, Jackson tries to find the magic words, figuring they would put him back to sleep but it has been replaced by a blank page.

A few weeks later, Slappy's actions have ruined Jackson's life as everyone thinks he went bad, and he is grounded for the rest of the school year, and banned from the YC. They also refuse to let him throw away Slappy, as he belongs to Grandpa Whitman, although he does lock him in a suitcase in the basement.

One night, Jackson hears Rachel talking to someone in her room. He looks and sees that she is talking to Slappy. She reveals that she brought Slappy to life on purpose after hearing about him so she can get revenge on Jackson for always making her look bad. She also hid the words so Jackson couldn't put Slappy back to sleep. Slappy thanks her for being a good daughter of Slappy. They tell Jackson they know he's listening to them, and then he hears a loud chirp.

From Son of Slappy to How I Met My Monster[]

The cart heads into The Fourteen Stories of Most Wanted Alibis. Slappy told the guests, that the third story is called "How I Met My Monster". Slappy said "Karru Marri Odonna Lomo Molonu Karrano", after that, the cart went into the gate of the third story called "How I Met My Monster". When the gate opens, Slappy says, "Cock your guns!"

Noah Bienstock is plagued by nightmares where he is chased by monsters. He's a shy nervous kid who has trouble making friends, with his only real friend being Lissa Gardener. He also has to deal with a bully named Harlan Eggman. Lissa thinks his monster dreams are tied to Harlan and that Noah should stand up to him, but he isn't sure.

At school, the teacher introduces a new kid named Monroe Morton, who has moved into Noah's apartment building. Noah and Monroe hit it off very well, while Harlan continues to harass Noah. The next day, Noah thinks he sees a monster on his way to school, but it quickly vanishes.

Sometime later, Noah and Monroe are hanging out at a fast-food restaurant, when Monroe gets impatient waiting for his food and goes into the kitchen to complain. Noah then hears a roar coming from the kitchen, and a woman screaming about a monster. Monroe exits soon after, with a bit of raw hamburger dripping from his chin. They go to the pet shop Noah's dad owns, and he sees the monster again. When he calls dad over to see it, it has vanished and Dad doesn't believe him because of Noah's monster nightmares.

Noah starts to think Monroe might be the monster, but he doesn't want to lose him as a friend. At home, he finds a dead gerbil on his desk, along with words written in marker that read MONSTERS RULE! That night, he has a nightmare where a monster says "You're next!", and thinks it has to mean something. The next day, Noah goes to Lissa's house where she claims to see the monster stalking Noah. They both agree that it could be Monroe, so Lissa suggests following him to see if this is true.

Noah keeps an eye on him at school the next day, but he doesn't show any signs of being a monster. He follows him home but has to go get groceries for Mom. Before he leaves, he sees three monsters wrestling for fun. He pulls Mom outside to see them, but they have vanished. The next day, Noah goes to Lissa's swim meet and he sees a monster in the pool.

The monster pulls him in and says "You're next!", just like in the dream. Noah asks the monster if it is Monroe and it only says "Maybe'. The monster leaves, and that night Noah decides to tell Mom and Dad the full story of what is going on. Before he can, they announce that they are going to do some work for N.A.S.A. for a week, and will have Noah stay with Monroe's family during that time.

On the first night at his house, Noah hears a noise and goes out to investigate and again sees the monsters, who says "You're next"! once again. Noah asks why they are doing this, and the monster reveals that it is actually Lissa. She says she is scaring him to "help" him but Noah runs away before she can explain further. While he runs, she warns him that "Friends don't tell on friends". Noah tells Monroe about this, but only laughs and says "Friends don't tell on friends".

The next day is the school's pet fair, and while Noah is alone in the gym with everyone else in class Lissa storms in as a monster, and starts wrecking the place. She leaves after she's done, again saying that "Friends don't tell on friends". Noah is blamed for the mess. He tells the teacher about Lissa, which she overhears and is upset about. Lissa chases Noah, who runs home. He meets up with Monroe, who turns out to be a monster as well.

They reveal that everyone at Sternom House is a monster, including Noah. He hadn't found his inner monster, and telling him about his monster is not allowed. So, they've been trying to scare the monster out of him. They give him a drink called Monster Helper, which works and brings out Noah's inner monster. He met his monster, and it's him. Noah and his monster friends then go to Harlan's house to "have some fun" with him.

From How I Met My Monster to Frankenstein's Dog[]

The cart heads into The Fourteen Stories of Most Wanted Alibis. Slappy told the guests, that the fourth story is called "Frankenstein's Dog". Slappy said "Karru Marri Odonna Lomo Molonu Karrano", after that, the cart went into the gate of the fourth story called "Frankenstein's Dog". When the gate opens, Slappy says, "Cock your guns!"

Kat Parker is visiting her Uncle Victor Frankenstein in a tiny old village. He has frequently visited her but this is the first time she's going to his home. She wants to do a video blog on her experience with him for a school project. When she arrives, some villagers tell her to go home as they believe he makes monsters, just like his great-grandfather before him.

A boy named Robby arrives to pick her up on Victor's behalf and takes her to his creepy old mansion. In contrast to what the villagers told her, Victor is a nice friendly man that even has a sweet fluffy white dog named Poochie. He's less interested in monsters and more involved in creating robots with artificial intelligence.

He brings out one he made named Frank, who is very lifelike and can think on his own. He's not perfect however as he occasionally glitches out. The next day, Kat and Robby are exploring the house when they stumble on his lab where Robby wants proof of Frank's existence. Kat turns him on, but he tries to escape. Kat manages to turn him off while Victor's vicious guard dogs scare him, and they put him back in the lab.

Poochie starts running around and causes some strange liquid to spill on him, which makes the dog grow. They are able to clean the gunk off and the effects wear off quickly. Kat wants to get some footage of this event for her video blog, but her phone has been destroyed by someone. She tells Victor about this and he theorizes that it simply fell off her bed stand, even though had no way of knowing that she kept it there. He also warns her to not leave her room at night.

That night, she thinks she hears Poochie out in the halls but it's actually a man who claims to be her Uncle Victor but looks slightly different. The real Victor comes in and reveals that this Victor is actually a robot, one of his past failures. The next morning, Kat wants to mail a letter to his parents, and Victor offers to do it for her.

After she finishes her breakfast, she starts to sneak out to the village and finds her letter in the trash. Later that day, Kat and Robby go back to Victor's lab to find out what is really going on. They find an activated Frank who says he is supposed to keep out intruders. He grabs Kat's arms but Robby is able to headbutt Frank to get him off her.

Frank is angry at this act of violence as violence goes against his programming. Victor comes in and turns off Frank. He reveals that he has cameras planted around the house and that he saw the incident with Poochie. He explains that he created some robots that had a copy of his brain waves but they started to think they actually were Victor and became too smart for their own good.

They tried to take over his life and while he was able to lock them up, some have escaped like the one Kat saw in the halls. Some even made it to the village, which is why the villagers fear him. Victor then reveals he has been planning to make a robot version of Kat using her brain waves.

Kat is knocked out by something he put in some cookies he gave her and she wakes up to see that there are wires attached to her and the in-progress robot. Another Victor breaks out of the failure room where all the robot Victor is kept and claims to be the real Victor and that the other one is the robot. Both of them demand that Kat help get rid of the other one.

She lets Poochie decide as he knows Victor the best. He seemingly picks the one that has been trying to make a Robot Kat and they lock up the other Victor. But it turns out the dog was just reaching for his power switch, and the one that ran out of the failure room was indeed the real Victor.

Kat and Robby quickly turn off Robot Victor and head into the failure room where all the robots within claims to be the real one. A man in a black suit walks in and reveals himself to be the real victor, who had actually been in France all week and got the visiting date wrong. Victor is finished with robots, as he can never get them to work right. He's more focused on cloning, as he was in France showing off clones of Poochie. He suggests making clones of Kat and they both laugh at the idea.

From Frankenstein's Dog to Dr. Maniac Will See You Now[]

The cart heads into The Fourteen Stories of Most Wanted Alibis. Slappy told the guests, that the fifth story is called "Dr. Maniac Will See You Now". Slappy said "Karru Marri Odonna Lomo Molonu Karrano", after that, the cart went into the gate of the fifth story called "Dr. Maniac Will See You Now". When the gate opens, Slappy says, "Cock your guns!"

Richard “Sneezer” Dreezer is a 12-year-old boy who has very bad allergic reactions, which make him sneeze a lot. During class, Mrs. Callus, Richard’s teacher, calls on him to give his book report. Richard goes to the front of the class, and starts his report, but, as soon as he begins, he starts to feel a big sneeze welling up. Sadly he can’t turn around in time, so he sneezes all over a girl in the front row. Everyone in the class burst out laughing, and they make fun of Richard. Mrs. Callus tries to stop the laughter, but Richard accidentally sneezes all over her, too.

Later, Richard’s parents send him to an allergy doctor named Dr. Root who has an office right in front of the Comic Book Museum. Richard enters the building and finds Dr. Root in his office, waiting for him. Dr. Root says that he is only giving Richard one shot, but the needle he will use is two feet long. Richard faints but otherwise, he feels fine.

Later he visits the Comic Book Museum. There, he finds his friend and curator of the museum, the Big Kahuna. Kahuna gives Richard two old comic books from the series The Masked Monkey. Richard goes to the reading room, but when he returns, Kahuna isn't there. Instead of Kahuna, there’s a strange and tall man who doesn’t have pupils in his eyes. That evening, Bree, Richard's crush, heads over to his place. Bree and Richard start planning their report on the Comic Book Museum.

The next morning, Richard and his little brother Ernie head to school. Richard spots two comic book characters, Captain Croaker and Terry Tadpole, disappear behind a roof. After school, Richard goes to the museum to meet Bree. Richard looks for Kahuna, but he isn’t there. Instead, there is the SnakeMan, another comic book character. The SnakeMan tells Richard that he has to leave because the museum is closed. The SnakeMan leaves the museum, grabs a rope that suddenly appeared in the air, and he escapes. Richard is still thinking about what happened when he sees his brother followed by Bree. Bree says she brought Ernie as a surprise. Richard starts talking about what he saw on the way to school, but he sees Dr. Maniac across the museum hall. Richard tells Dr. Maniac that he isn’t real because he’s just a comic book character. Dr. Maniac doesn’t believe him, so he tells Richard to eat a cockroach to test to see if it’s real or not. Richard refuses, so Dr. Maniac eats the insect himself.

Bree attempts to leave the museum, but the Purple Rage appears and blocks her path. He is about to destroy Richard, but then Bree grabs Rage’s arm and tells him she's a kid and not a comic book character like he is. Dr. Maniac is interrupted by a superhero called the Star-Spangled Banner, and the kids escape while they are fighting. Dr. Maniac follows them and tells them that someone broke the wall between the Real World and the Comic Book World, and, because of that, comic book characters are escaping into the Real World. Dr. Maniac also reveals that he plans to torture the kids in front of TV cameras to show it to everyone.

Richard has an idea. He stands up and starts to tickle Dr. Maniac under the chin. Dr. Maniac giggles and laughs helplessly as Richard tickles him, and the kids escape. When they go outside, the street is filled with super-heroes and villains. They run into Richard’s house, looking for his parents, but they were locked in cages by Captain Croaker. Croaker grabs Bree with his tongue.

Richard picks up Ernie’s collection of dead flies and shows it to Croaker hoping that he will eat the flies and let go of Bree. Sadly, the plan doesn’t work. Richard sneezes and the jar falls, spilling the dead flies all over the floor. Terry Tadpole, Croaker’s sidekick dives across the carpet and starts eating the flies. The kids run out of the house, only to find Purple Rage even angrier than before. Rage forces the kids to go back to the museum in order to convince Dr. Maniac to do things right again.

When they reach the museum, they see Dr. Maniac holding Ernie in both hands. But when Richard approaches Maniac, he and Ernie both disappear suddenly. They notice a trapdoor hidden behind the desk, and they fall through and into the Comic Book World. The land in an ocean and they are swallowed by a giant whale. Inside the whale, Purple Rage becomes so angry, he explodes, freeing the kids. The kids land on a beach. Bree's leg falls off, which they assume is because the comic book world follows different logic to the real world.

They come across a doctor's office where the woman at the desk is a comic book character named Scarlet Starlet. She asks them if they have an appointment with the doctor. It turns out that the doctor the Starlet is referring to is Dr. Maniac. He says that he wants the kids to be his guests in the Comic Book World forever, and he wants them to be his slaves. Suddenly, the Purple Rage appears, and he explains that he pulled himself together. Richard is relieved that he arrived because he could free them from Dr. Maniac.

Rage says that he is a villain, and villains don’t battle villains, so he is taking Dr. Maniac’s side. Richard realizes that now they’re in the Comic Book World, so they can have superpowers. Richard tries to fly, but he falls to the ground and makes the two villains laugh.

Suddenly, Dr. Root appears. He reveals that when given the shot, Richard fainted, so everything happening is apart of Richard's dream. Dr. Root picks another two feet needle to wake Richard up. Richard asks Bree to pinch him, and, when she does it, it hurts. This signals that Dr. Root is lying. Dr. Root reveals that he was the one who opened the door between the two worlds, and he is a comic book character that managed to escape to the Real World. Root says that he and Maniac are “maniac partners”.

Root raises the needle again, but Richard sneezes. The power of the sneeze makes Dr. Root’s needle fly into the air and fall on the ground. Richard sneezes again, and the sneeze sends Dr. Root slamming backward into the wall, causing him to faint. Richard realizes that his sneezes are like explosions in the Comic Book World, so he uses them to defeat Dr. Maniac, the Purple Rage, and Scarlet Starlet. When he goes outside, Bree and Ernie are not there anymore. Instead of them, dozens and dozens of superheroes fill the streets of the Comic Book World. Richard is told by a character named The Mighty Hairball that the door to the Real World is open, but it’s closing quickly. He also says that the door is at the top of a concrete stairway across the street.

Richard starts running toward the stairway, but then The Masked Monkey stops him. Richard sneezes, and the monkey’s mask blows off his face. Without his mask, the Masked Monkey is just a regular monkey. When Richard reaches the door, it is closed, but, with a powerful sneeze, he is able to open the door. In the Real World, Richard sees his parents arguing, which is a typical occurrence for them. When they spot Richard, they tell him he is grounded for life. He sees Bree waving a fist at him, and she says that she will get her revenge.

Richard decides that the Comic Book World is way better than the real one. So he says goodbye to his family and shuts the door forever. In the Comic Book World, Richard sees his brother. As it turns out, Richard's brother never escaped the Comic Book World. Slowly, Richard realizes that he is going to be stuck with his brother forever in a world where people can't grow old.

From Dr. Maniac Will See You Now to Creature Teacher: The Final Exam[]

The cart heads into The Fourteen Stories of Most Wanted Alibis. Slappy told the guests, that the sixth story is called "Creature Teacher: The Final Exam". Slappy said "Karru Marri Odonna Lomo Molonu Karrano", after that, the cart went into the gate of the sixth story called "Creature Teacher: The Final Exam". When the gate opens, Slappy says, "Cock your guns!"

The book begins with a message from R. L. Stine. He welcomes the reader to his office and starts to talk about the wanted posters on the walls. You are studying the poster of Mrs. Maaargh, the Creature Teacher. R.L. Stine tells you that a boy named Tommy Farrelly can tell you all about her. He tells you you'll soon find out why she is MOST WANTED...

Tommy is twelve years old, and for his summer vacation, he's going to Winner Island Camp. This is not how Tommy wants to spend his summer, but in his family, everybody is extremely competitive. It's always about who's the fastest, strongest smartest, luckiest. Tommy likes to take it easy but his family wants him to see the world the way they do so they're sending him to Winner Island Camp to make him a winner.

Tommy and his family go to a restaurant called Andy's Fish Shack. There's a dock near the restaurant where a ship will come to bring Tommy to the camp. At the restaurant, Tommy's family has a few pointless competitions over who can eat the fastest, get to the table fastest, who has the biggest breakfast, etc. Tommy's mother takes out a brochure for the camp with a note from the Director, Uncle Felix. The note reads: When you arrive, you are a LOSER. But losers NEVER leave Winner Island.

Tommy is a little freaked out by the note. Their food soon arrives and the whole family puts hot sauce on it except for Tommy. They apparently put hot sauce on everything. A man named Jared soon comes to pick Tommy up. He is only picking Tommy up because the camp already started and he's late. On the boat, he finds more brochures that have similar messages like that of the first one. Tommy soon gets to the island and Jared tells Tommy he hopes he sees him on the way back. This also freaks Tommy out. A counselor named Robb greets Tommy and takes his bags. Tommy sees a group of kids fighting each other and the counselors just watching. Robb tells him those are just their morning warm-ups.

Robb tells Tommy that Uncle Felix may want to talk with him. He directs Tommy to his office and promises he'll take Tommy's bag to his cabin. There's a sign on his office door reading: DO NOT KNOCK. Tommy listens to the sign and fails a "test". Apparently, a winner would have ignored the sign. He eventually lets Tommy in and asks him if he met the Teacher. He says no. Uncle Felix tells Tommy he can report to Cabin J. Tommy thought he was going to cabin 12 and it is then revealed that Robb isn't a counselor. All of the cabins are actually numbered and Robb robbed him of his belongings. Uncle Felix tells Tommy that was his first lesson: never trust anybody.

Tommy leaves his office and wanders around the camp in an attempt to find Cabin J. While he's wandering, he meets a girl named Sophie. He asks if she knows where Cabin J is. She tells Tommy that there is no Cabin J; the cabins are all numbered. Sophie tells Tommy about The Teacher. The Teacher, she says, is a monster named Mrs. Maaargh. Mrs. Maaargh eats the worst loser. She showed up on the island one day and Uncle Felix couldn't do anything about it. He promised her she could eat one camper. Tommy doesn't believe her and thinks that she's trying to pull a joke on the new kid. She angrily storms off when Tommy doesn't believe her and says she'll eat him for coming to camp late. Tommy finds Cabin 12 and is drenched with water by a kid named Ricardo. They're bunkmates. He apologizes for he thought Tommy was a kid from Cabin 10 he was having a war with. Ricardo tells Tommy he had his stuff stolen as well by a guy named Steele.

Suddenly Sophie runs into their cabin in a panic. She tells them that Mrs. Maargh had decided to eat Tommy right away instead of at the end of camp. Ricardo starts to panic but Tommy still thinks it's a joke. Against Sophie and Ricardo's advice, Tommy goes off to face the"imaginary" Mrs. Maaargh. Along the way, Tommy sees everybody running away because Mrs. Maaargh was letting a wolf out. Tommy still doesn't believe and goes into her office. Tommy finds Mrs. Maaargh, who does look like a monster. Tommy thinks her ugly, monster face is a mask and tries to pull it off. Tommy is horrified when he realizes it's not a mask, it's her face! She screams in pain and rage. Tommy tells her he's sorry and did it because he didn't believe in monsters. This makes her angrier. She tells Tommy that she eats the loser at the bottom of her chart, and Tommy had just sunk to the bottom of her chart.

Mrs. Maaargh then tells Tommy he had to be punished for hurting her face. She gives him a spoon and tells him to pick her nose with it for her. Tommy refuses to do so and he runs out of her office. Tommy runs to the island's dock where the boat that took him there is parked. When he gets there, a snake attacks him. Then, Uncle Felix catches him and takes him back to Mrs. Maaargh's class.

Whenever Tommy tries to escape, he is caught. He finds himself at the bottom of her chart for most of the time. He ultimately loses and Mrs. Maaargh prepares to eat him. But he has one last thing to fight her off with. A bottle of hot sauce. Tommy squirts it at her and it's so hot that she jumps off the island and into the water. Mrs. Maaargh leaves and never comes back.

For a while, all of the kids and camp counselors are happy. They all party for a few days because Mrs. Maaargh is gone. Then, a monster with two heads comes to the island. He says his name is Mr. Baaargh and that Camp Winner will continue as normal. Mr. Baaargh pulls out a chart telling the kids to keep on eye on the chart because, at the end of camp, he plans to eat two of them.

From Creature Teacher: The Final Exam to A Nightmare on Clown Street[]

The cart heads into The Fourteen Stories of Most Wanted Alibis. Slappy told the guests, that the seventh story is called "A Nightmare on Clown Street". Slappy said "Karru Marri Odonna Lomo Molonu Karrano", after that, the cart went into the gate of the seventh story called "A Nightmare on Clown Street". When the gate opens, Slappy says, "Cock your guns!"

The story begins with Ray “Ray Gun” Gordon and his friend, Heather James sneaking out of Ray’s house at night. They attempt to enter illegally into a circus but are caught by a huge clown ironically named Tiny. Ray talks to Tiny for a while, until his father interrupts, saying that he had been looking for Ray.

Later that night, Ray and his parents argue about a card his uncle Theo sent, inviting Ray to Koko’s Klown Academy, the circus where Theo works. Ray manages to convince his parents and, at the beginning of the summer, he goes on a trip to the circus. Uncle Theo shows him the circus, and Ray sees a large tank filled with water, with a big sign that reads “Dunk-A-Klown”. A clown is perched on a seat high above the water tank. In front of the tank, a teenage boy is throwing baseballs at a target. Ray starts toward it, but Theo grabs his arm and tells him not to look. But then, one of the balls hits the target. The clown’s chair collapses, and the clown falls into the water. Ray sees a look of fear on the clown's face. The water in the tank starts to sink, and the clown disappears.

Ray asks his uncle where the clown went, but Theo ignores him and tells him to keep moving. They walk a little more, and then they go to lunch at the food tent. All the clowns goof and kid around, but then a big and eerie-looking clown enters the tent. It's Mr. HahaFace, the boss of Koko’s Klown Academy. After all the clowns leave the food tent, Ray and his uncle start toward the trailer where Theo lives, but suddenly a knife comes flying at Ray’s head. Luckily, the knife misses, but no one knows who threw the knife. Murder says it’s probably just a joke, but Ray is not fully sure.

Later, Ray is given the clown name Mr. Belly-Bounce and told that he can’t take off his clown makeup during the day. Ray is then introduced to his roommate, a clown named Bingo-Bongo. A few hours later, he meets Deanna Banana, a clown girl to whom Ray talks to about Mr. HahaFace. They talk for a while, but then Bingo-Bongo calls him and says that Deanna is Mr. HahaFace’s daughter. That night, Ray hears a whisper coming from outside his trailer, calling his name. He goes outside, but only to stumble and fall facedown into a pile of fish intestines.

The next day, after breakfast, he returns to his trailer to get his clown shoes, but his uncle tells him there’s no problem in rehearsing for the show without the shoes, so they go to the main tent anyway. After the rehearsal, Ray walks to the trailer, but then he finds his clown shoes, completely sliced in half. He asks Bingo-Bongo if he was the one who sliced his shoes, but he swears he doesn’t know who did it.

A few hours later, it is time for the circus show. All the clowns do their roles, but in the end, Ray accidentally trips over Bingo-Bongo’s shoes, knocks Mr. HahaFace, and falls heavily in the top of him. Although it was an accident, the audience loved it, and everyone started cheering and laughing. But, after the show, Mr. HahaFace tells Ray he needs to see him and pulls Ray to inside the tent. He talks angrily at Ray, saying that what he did wasn’t funny. Ray defends himself, telling the ringmaster it was an accident and he tripped over Bingo-Bongo’s shoes. But Mr. HahaFace gets him wrong and thinks that it was all Bingo-Bongo’s fault.

Ray attempts to explain to him that Bingo-Bongo didn’t do it on purpose. However, Mr. HahaFace then thinks Ray was only trying to protect his roommate and tells Ray he could return to his trailer. He leaves the tent and finds Deanna Banana. They go eat hot dogs, and then Ray sees Bingo-Bongo perched on the seat of the Dunk-A-Klown tank, with a terrified look on his face. A man hits the target with a ball, and Bingo-Bongo disappears into the water.

Ray and Deanna return to the circus, and Ray runs toward the tent, to find out that Bingo-Bongo was replaced by another clown named Dr. Phooey. Ray asks him where did his roommate go and Dr. Phooey says Bingo-Bongo went to a place called Clown Street. A few minutes later, Ray walks toward his uncle’s trailer, to find him washing off his Murder the Clown makeup. But when Ray sees Theo’s real face, he turns out not to be his uncle. The “fake Theo” explains everything, telling Ray that his real name is David Ford and that Ray’s uncle was sent to Clown Street by Mr. HahaFace, a few days before Ray arrived at Koko’s Klown Academy, so Mr. HahaFace told David to replace Theo, to make Ray believe that he was his uncle.

Ray decides he has to rescue his uncle from Clown Street and plans to anger Mr. HahaFace enough to make him send Ray there immediately. He walks to HahaFace’s trailer, grabs a banana cream pie, and smashes it against him, while he was sleeping. But when the clown takes off the cream of his face, Ray sees he wasn’t HahaFace, but a clown named Tommy Teardrops. Tommy asks why Ray does do, and Ray explains everything. Tommy says it’s too late, because once you go to Clown Street, you would never leave. But Ray is determined to save Murder the Clown. He finally realizes exactly how to get there, and takes off running to the Dunk-A-Klown tank.

Ray starts to climb the water tank. However, that’s when he sees Deanna Banana stepping quickly out of the shadows. She tries to stop Ray by grabbing his arm, but he jerks free. She then explains Ray she is on his side and tells him that she was the one who threw the knife at him and made him fall into the fish guts and sliced his clown shoes. Ray thinks that she wanted to hurt him, but she says she was trying to help and warn him. So Ray says that if she wanted to help him, she could throw baseballs and hit the target, to send Ray to Clown Street.

She finally agrees, unhappily, and starts throwing balls. She hits the target and Ray is flushed quickly into an even larger water tank. A few seconds later, Deanna also splashes into the water tank. Ray is surprised for her being there, but they don’t have much time to talk, because a giant mutant squid shows up from behind them.

They fight the squid and Deanna pokes one of her knives into the squid’s eye, killing it. They then notice applause. They peer through the glass wall of the tank and see people clapping and cheering to them. Before they have a chance to move, two huge clowns grab them and take them to the “Clown Street Hotel”, which is nothing but a prison for clowns. Ray and Deanna hear a roar from a cage, and see two gray-uniformed guards dragging a clown down the prison hallway. The clown has begged the guards not to be thrown into the bear cage, but the guards ignore him.

A clown in a cell next to the kids utters "poor guy", to no one in particular. Ray turns to him and sees it was uncle Theo. Theo, in his Murder the Clown costume, tells them the whole story. There is a guy who everyone calls The Frightener. He owns Clown Street, and he built it because he is so afraid of clowns, he wants to kill them all. Mr. HahaFace works for him, sending clowns to here. The Frightener made every clown walk through a machine that sends out a ray that makes the clown makeup permanent, so it can never be removed. He forced all the clowns to entertain him and his family and guests by fighting the squid or the bear, while The Frightener’s friends cheer and laugh. And when the clowns weren’t fighting for their lives, they went entertain at kid’s parties. The Frightener keeps the money the parents pay, to support his prison.

When Theo finishes talking, The Frightener’s voice rings out from a loudspeaker. He says that his nephew Freddy is having a birthday party, so the clowns have to entertain the kids at the party. Ray suddenly has an idea and tells Theo and Deanna his escape plan: When they arrive at Freddy’s house, instead of making the kids laugh, they would make them scream. The Frightener would hear the screams and enter the room. Then the clowns would surround him, and The Frightener would be petrified.

Sometime later, the clowns all leave the bus and enter Freddy’s house. They act as scary as possible, but the kids laugh and laugh instead of screaming, as planned. The Frightener ends up entering the room suddenly, asking why all the laughter and the clowns seize the opportunity. They jam up against him and force him into a corner, laughing maniacally.

The Frightener begins to scream and run, crying, out of the building. The clowns cheer and laugh and also leave Freddy’s house. They are all free now. When Ray arrives home, he wants to tell his parents about the adventure he had and about how he saved the clowns from Clown Street. However, when he attempts to wash his face, the clown makeup won’t come off. He anxiously starts to yell for his parents.

From A Nightmare on Clown Street to Night of the Puppet People[]

The cart heads into The Fourteen Stories of Most Wanted Alibis. Slappy told the guests, that the eighth story is called "Night of the Puppet People". Slappy said "Karru Marri Odonna Lomo Molonu Karrano", after that, the cart went into the gate of the eighth story called "Night of the Puppet People". When the gate opens, Slappy says, "Cock your guns!"

Twins Ben and Jenny Renfro are celebrating their fifth birthday and their mother is throwing them a party. She invited a puppeteer named Whizzbang the Wizard to perform for them. Whizzbang pulls out a sultan puppet and brings it close to Ben. Suddenly, the puppet bites Ben's ear. After getting the puppet off Ben, Whizzbang brings up Jenny to perform with a princess dummy. Suddenly, the puppet's arm shoots up and punches Jenny in the nose. The kids begin to panic while Whizzbang runs off.

Ben and Jenny, now twelve years old, constantly deal with a pair of mean girls named Maria Salinas and Anna Richards. Anna and Maria intend to enter the school's variety show, which the winner will win five hundred dollars. They plan to perform a puppet act with marionettes, which bothers Ben and Jenny, though they can't recall why. Not wanting to have Anna and Maria gloat, Ben and Jenny enter the show as well, but without any action. They head to their friend Jonathan Sparrow's house. Because of his bird-like features and last name, he is given the nickname Bird. The three try to think of an act but to no avail. Suddenly Bird's dad Mr. Sparrow, who is also the school soccer coach, returns home early due to a storm forcing him to cancel soccer practice.

The bird then thinks that maybe his dad would have something in the attic that they could use. The three head up to the attic and eventually find a cabinet. Inside are three puppets, a sultan, a princess, and a knight. Ben and Jenny are still afraid to use the puppets, but when Bird tells them that they could beat Anna and Maria, they get over their fears and decide to take the puppets to school without Mr. Sparrow knowing. Due to the storm, Ben and Jenny sleepover at the birds. That night, Ben thinks he hears something moving and thinks it might be the puppets. But when the three go to check, they only find a squirrel.

The next day, Ben, Jenny and Bird audition for the variety show with the puppets, much to the anger of Anna and Maria who think that they're intentionally trying to copy them. Not long after auditioning, the three get confronted by Anna and Maria who yell at them, claiming they cut the strings of their puppets. Ben then sees a pair of scissors in the sultan's hands. The principal Ms. Feeny, believes that the three couldn't have sabotaged Anna and Maria and lets them off. However, when they go to the art room to collect the puppets, they see the words PUPPETS RULE written on the walls, with markers in the hands of their puppets. They try to wipe off the marker but get caught by Ms. Feeny who suspends them for a week and kicks them off the variety show.

One week later, Ben, Jenny, and Bird learn that it was all Anna and Maria are doing. They sabotaged the three of them so they would get in trouble. And if the three try to tell on them, no one will believe them. Wanting to get revenge on Anna and Maria, the three come up with a plan to sabotage their act, by running on stage and performing during Anna and Maria's performance. They get the puppets again and try to perform with them. Suddenly, Ben trips as the Sultan puppet lands on top of him. The puppet opens its mouth and makes a strange buzzing sound in Ben's ear. Ben begins to feel strange.

Mr. Sparrow arrives and panics when he sees the puppets. He finally tells the kids the truth. Seven years ago, he had dreams of being an entertainer. He bought the puppets from a puppeteer and rushed to their birthday party to perform as Whizzbang the Wizard. However, when he performed with the puppets, they acted as if they had a mind of their own and injured the kids. He hid the puppets away in his attic, to ensure they never fell into the wrong hands. Ben and Jenny also begin to remember that day as well.

The next morning, Ben wakes up with his entire body feeling stiff. He makes it to the breakfast table, but his face and hands start to turn into wood. With Ben believing it to be the work of the puppets, Jenny brings Ben to Bird's house, in hopes of finding anything that could help. They find a card in the sultan's robe belonging to an Eduardo Caleb, the puppeteer. The three take a bus to his address, while silver rings grow in Ben's limbs. They arrive at the right address, but the building is condemned. Ben believes he's doomed until they see someone enter through the back. They follow and enter the building.

They are greeted by Eduardo, who informs Ben that he's been infected by puppet cells. He tells the kids that the three puppets were a trio of failed experiments that he had hoped wouldn't spread their evil puppet cells. He then offers to reverse the process. As the kids are led into a room, Ben sees the puppets shaking their heads. Ben is placed under a strange green dome which almost suffocates him. However, when the process finishes, he's back to normal. He's about to leave when Eduardo tells him that he only sucked the bad puppet cells out and that he still intends to turn him into a puppet. Suddenly the three puppets come to life and attack Eduardo while Ben, Jenny, and Bird make a run for it.

The variety show arrives and Ben, Jenny, and Bird intend to jeer the other performers, namely Anna and Maria. Suddenly, two performers in ski masks perform on stage with two puppets that look like Anna and Maria. The three realize that Anna and Maria must have followed them to Eduardo Caleb's and ended up transformed into puppets. The performance is a hit with the crowd, as Ben, Jenny and Bird are amazed that Anna and Maria managed to beat them once again.

From Night of the Puppet People to Here Comes the Shaggedy[]

The cart heads into The Fourteen Stories of Most Wanted Alibis. Slappy told the guests, that the ninth story is called "Here Comes the Shaggedy". Slappy said "Karru Marri Odonna Lomo Molonu Karrano", after that, the cart went into the gate of the ninth story called "Here Comes the Shaggedy". When the gate opens, Slappy says, "Cock your guns!"

This book opens with a short introduction from R. L. Stine. Mr. Stine begins talking about the poster on his walls that depicts the Shaggedy. He says that the creature is supposed to be a legend. Mr. Stine assures the reader that two kids, Kelli and Shawn Andersen, have dealt with the Shaggedy first hand...

Kelli and Shawn are watching a horror movie about a swamp monster, but they are interrupted by their father. Mr. Andersen reminds her that she is supposed to protect her younger brother, not scare him. Kelli's dad, Dr. Andersen, is moving from New York to "Deep Hole Swamp" in Florida. Kelli doesn't want to move, so she has been trying to scare Shawn so that dad won't force them to move. Kelli's parents are divorced, and her mom lives in Seattle.

The story jumps ahead to Kelli and Shawn's first day attending Swan Middle School in Florida. The two siblings see that a crowd of students, adults, and police officers are all looking at a huge footprint in the grass. A boy named Zeke tells the siblings that the footprints belong to a creature that lives in the waters of the swamp, and it's called the Shaggedy. A young teacher named Miss Rawls interrupts Zeke and says that the Shaggedy doesn't exist. A police officer begins talking to Miss Rawls, and he informs her that whatever made the footprint is probably also responsible for breaking several windows of the school.

Zeke tells Kelli and Shawn that the Shaggedy is real because he and his twin brother, Decker, saw it. Later in the day, Kelli and Shawn have to go to the cafeteria to eat lunch. They decide to sit next to Zeke. Eventually, Decker joins them. Zeke shows Kelli and Shawn his drawing of the Shaggedy. Zeke and Decker get mad at Kelli for not being fearful of the Shaggedy. The twins also make fun of Kelli and Shawn because they have never gone fishing.

Once at home, Kelli tells her father that kids made fun of her because she had never been fishing, so Dr. Andersen decides to take Kelli and her brother fishing. Before they leave, Kelli sees that her new backpack has the words "HERE COMES THE SHAGGEDY" written on it in blood-red. Kelli thinks that Zeke and Decker must be responsible. Soon, Dr. Andersen and the siblings go fishing. While fishing, Kelli is knocked out of the boat by a large aquatic creature, and she is pulled back into the boat by Dr. Andersen.

The next day, at school, Shawn receives a letter in his locker telling him that the Shaggedy wants him. Kelli believes that Zeke and Decker are responsible for the letter. After school, Kelli and Shawn begin walking home. However, they get lost when they try to take a shortcut through the woods. Worse yet, rain starts falling. Stumbling through the woods, the kids find an old cabin. Inside the cabin, they find many snake skulls. While investigating the cabin, the owner of the cabin returns. An owner is an old man who addresses himself as Ranger Saul. Kelli and Shawn run out of the cabin as soon as possible, but Saul chases them. When Saul catches up to the kids, he gives them directions back to their house. The kids manage to return home. That night, Shawn leaves his window open and hears someone whispering his name from outside. Shawn tells Kelli, so Kelli goes outside to investigate.

Outside, Kelli runs into Ranger Saul, and he scolds her for being outside at night. Ranger Saul tells Kelli that he is in the woods because he is hunting the Shaggedy. Saul then reveals the process of summoning the Shaggedy; simply smear the blood of a dead animal on a piece of paper 50 times, and then say "Here come the Shaggedy" 10 times. Once summoned, the Shaggedy will do whatever the summoner requests. Kelli returns home. The following morning, Kelli and Shawn find two giant footprints near Shawn's window. The kids show them to Dr. Andersen, but he thinks that the footprints were made by Zeke and Decker.

Dr. Andersen takes Shawn and Kelli on another boat ride. When they return home, they find that Kelli's room is trashed. A warning message from the Shaggedy is painted in red on the wall. Dr. Andersen believes that Zeke and Decker are responsible, so he storms off to find the two. Dr. Andersen finds the boys and begins scolding them for taking their prank too far. Before he can finish scolding them, Kelli runs up to them and admits that she had left the scary messages, scared Shawn, and trashed her own room in an attempt to force her father to move back to New York so she could be reunited with her friends. Dr. Andersen forgives Kelli, and Kelli agrees that she will stop scaring Shawn.

The next time Kelli and Shawn are at school, their class goes on a nature walk through the swamp. Zeke and Decker are mad that Dr. Andersen accused them of causing trouble, but they agree to forgive Kelli. Zeke and Decker lead Kelli and Shawn off of the main trail and show they Kelli and Shawn the place where they saw the Shaggedy the second time. Kelli says that she does not believe their story. Zeke and Decker push Kelli into the swamp river as an act of revenge; the twins are still mad that Kelli's dad yelled at them. Kelli is spotted by her teacher and scolded for being reckless.

The next day, Kelli is mad that Zeke and Decker embarrassed her, so she decides she will summon the Shaggedy. Kelli sees a dead bird on the side of the road, and she thinks that she can use the bird's blood in the summoning ritual. She convinced Shawn to help her perform the ritual near Deep Hole. Once the ritual is completed, a creature rises out of Deep Hole, and Kelli stands very nearby. When the creature comes out of the water, it doesn't obey Kelli, it instead chooses to walk away and begin destroying houses.

When Kelli asks Ranger Saul for help, he informs her that whatever she summoned wasn't the Shaggedy. The Shaggedy is supposed to be green and scaly, but this creature is green, brown, and hairy. Upon closer inspection of Kelli's ritual spot, Ranger Saul determines that she miscounted and only used 48 drops of blood. Ranger Saul hands Kelli a bag full of snake powder and tells her that if she can lure the monster into the water and sprinkle the dust on its head, it will sink into the water.

Kelli is climbing into a rowboat with Saul when Shawn finds them. Kelli explains that she has to defeat the monster, and Shawn demands to go with her. While in the boat, the monster rises up beneath Kelli and Shawn. Kelli tries to sprinkle the snake powder on the monster, but she misses. The monster takes Shawn and leaves. Saul says that the only chance they have of retrieving Shawn is to summon the Shaggedy. Kelli and Saul summon the Shaggedy using supplies that Saul brought with him. When Kelli and Saul summon the Shaggedy, Zeke and Decker appear and they claim to be the Shaggedy.

Kelli assumes that they're joking, but then the boys begin morphing together into a large swamp monster. Kelli commands the Shaggedy to rescue her brother. The Shaggedy confronts the other monster, the monster puts down Shawn, and the Shaggedy and the monster begin fighting. After an arduous fight, the Shaggedy defeats the other monster and throws it in a deep area of the swamp. After the unidentifiable monster sinks, Kelli's dad arrives just in time to see Kelli and Shawn reunite, so they hug each other.

The Shaggedy splits back into Zeke and Decker. Saul reveals that he actually is a government agent who is searching for monsters. Saul wants to take the Shaggedy to a testing lab, but the Zeke and Decker do not want to leave. They merge together and grab Saul. Before they can hurt him, Kelli commands the Shaggedy to release Saul and return to the swamp. The Shaggedy leaves and the Andersen family celebrate Kelli's victory. Dr. Andersen says that he will take the kids back to New York, but Kelli says that the swamp is much more exciting.

From Here Comes the Shaggedy to The Lizard of Oz[]

The cart heads into The Fourteen Stories of Most Wanted Alibis. Slappy told the guests, that the tenth story is called "The Lizard of Oz". Slappy said "Karru Marri Odonna Lomo Molonu Karrano", after that, the cart went into the gate of the tenth story called "The Lizard of Oz". When the gate opens, Slappy says, "Cock your guns".

Kate Lipton thinks her parents are crazy. She feels like she’s the grown-up in the family since her parents are always pulling pranks on her and her ten-year-old brother, Freddy, leaving her to be the sensible one. The family lives in a town called Middle Village. Her parents’ latest idea was to quit their jobs and buy twelve miniature horses to form a petting zoo. Unfortunately, this idea wasn’t a success and the family was going broke, so they came up with a new idea: to buy lizards to form a lizard attraction zoo. The family goes to the Queens Park Wildlife Reserve in Queensland, Australia to buy lizards, and a man named Dr. Clegg shows them a very rare and unique Tasmanian cobra lizard. Before offering to sell them an egg, he claims the egg will hatch the lizard that he showed them. Dr. Clegg’s lab assistant, Miss Morris, warns Kate not to buy the egg, but her parents buy it anyway.

When they return to Middle Village, Kate shows pictures of the lizards in Australia and the egg to her science class. A girl named Adele Bender, who is always trying to turn everything into a competition between her and Kate, says that the egg is a fake. Kate invites Adele to come over to her house to prove to her that the egg isn’t fake. After getting scared by Kate’s father’s macaw, Screech, Adele wants to hold it to see if it’s actually a lizard egg. Kate agrees to let her hold it, but her hand slips when she takes it out of the glass case in the hatching room in her house. The egg cracks on the floor, but Kate’s father comes in and explains that he switched that egg with an egg from the fridge as a prank he was going to pull later.

Kate's father shows them the real egg and then sneezes while holding it, causing the egg to fall again and smash. Kate and her father are heartbroken and Adele leaves. While cleaning the mess the egg left, Kate feels the shell bounce in her hand and sees a tiny lizard that looks like a hairy bee. It bites Kate when she picks it up. She tells her dad about the lizard, he bandages her cut, and Kate, Freddy, and their father go to see the lizard. He videos it while it eats a dead cricket.

Kate, Freddy, and their father discuss what to name the lizard over dinner at Chicken Heaven and as they’re about to leave, Kate sees that the backs of her hands have crisscross lines on them like diamond shapes. Her father dismisses it as dry skin. Kate remembers that she’s supposed to be at a school building set for the school play and her father drops her off there. Kate shows the picture of the newly hatched lizard to everyone, but no one believes it’s a real lizard. Kate realizes that the strange diamond patterns she saw on her hands have gone all the way up both her arms.

The news reporters come over on Sunday to interview Kate and Freddy’s father about the lizard and as they’re talking, Kate eats two flies that come in through the front door. Freddy sees her and she brushes it off as a joke, though she’s horrified and confused by what she did. She eats another fly and decides to take a shower to get rid of the dry skin that she thinks caused the diamond patterns. After getting out of the shower, she sees that said patterns cover her shoulders now. Remembering something, she fishes a lizard skin purse her grandmother gave her from a drawer and to her horror, the marks on the purse match the marks on her body exactly. Then she sees a giant lizard on its hind legs in the hatching room.

She tries to tell her father, only to see that the giant lizard has disappeared. She tries to explain it to him, but then he has to leave for Toronto to pick up a lizard. When he leaves, she sees that her fingernails have turned sharp like lizard toenails. She tries to tell Freddy about the giant lizard, but he doesn’t believe her and mocks her. She tries to find it but doesn’t.

The next day in science class, Adele suggests that the class bring in baby photos to make an Instagram album. After a volleyball game in Phys Ed, Kate starts crawling on all fours on the gym floor against her will and eats an insect. Adele sees her and videos it.

At home, Kate attacks Freddy, biting the back of his neck. Adele phones Kate, asking her to pick up her two brothers for their orthodontist appointment or she’ll share the video she took of her acting like a lizard online. Then she attacks the Tasmanian cobra lizard, consumed by anger. It bites her before running away. She goes after it and puts it back in its cage. Screech then attacks Kate, thinking she’s a lizard, but she distracts him with dead crickets.

Kate remembers Adele’s suggestion to bring in baby photos for class and decides to look for baby photos to take her mind off everything. She finds a couple of photo albums in a closet in a storage room. She flips through them in her parents’ bedroom. Freddy comes in and the two of them see photos of eggs with Kate’s name on the top and captions saying “almost there” and “can’t wait to see my baby”.

Just then, the giant lizard comes in before transforming into Kate and Freddy’s father. He explains that their family is part lizard part of shapeshifters whose lizard identity comes out when they turn twelve or thirteen. The lizard bite didn’t harm Kate at all.

Kate wails that Adele is going to put the video of her acting like a lizard on YouTube and then everyone will know that she’s a lizard. As a solution, the family invites Adele over for dinner and gives her a scare by transforming into their lizard forms in front of her. She deletes the video and rushes off. While the family wonders what they’ll have for dinner, they see two fat mice scamper over the pantry door.

From The Lizard of Oz to Zombie Halloween[]

The cart heads into The Fourteen Stories of Most Wanted Alibis. Slappy told the guests, that the eleventh story is called "Zombie Halloween".Slappy said "Karru Marri Odonna Lomo Molonu Karrano" after that, the cart went into the gate of the eleventh story called "Zombie Halloween". When the gate opens, Slappy says, "Cock your guns!"

Mario Manzetti has just moved to Franklin Village, and he hates his new home, an old building that's across the street from a graveyard. However, Mario commits to being more positive for his mother's sake; life hasn't been easy for her since Mario's father left to fight in World War II.

Mario and his new friend, Ivy, go exploring the cemetery, and they're scared by Anthony, Mario's younger brother. In the graveyard, Mario experiences strange occurrences, such as mysterious voices and unknown forces pushing him. The kids end up back at Mario's house. Evidently, Mrs. Manzetti has left for work. The kids explore the building and find a trapdoor in the basement floor, which they open and climb inside. To their horror, the kids see a group of zombies. Suddenly, Mario hears his mother come home. He and his brother rush back upstairs as quickly as possible to warn her. She says that — while she had heard rumors about the undead — she didn't believe there were zombies. The trio rushes down to the trapdoor and reopens it. A haggard, noseless, and undead Ivy jumps out at them. Ivy swears that Mario will never escape her.

Kenny Manzetti doesn't like his new home in Franklin Village. It's across the street from a graveyard, which he hates. Kenny and his twin sister, Tricia, were forced to move in with their Grandpa Mo by their parents. Grandpa Mo, a frail old man who loves to tell zombie stories, is too sick to live alone. As a new family moves into the house next door, Kenny and Tricia begin planning their Halloween party with the help of their friend, Alec Schwartzman. The kids discuss the possibility of a zombie party, but they're distracted when the movers next door remove three coffins from a van and bring them inside the house next door.

The kids tell Grandpa Mo, and he suggests that a new family is a group of zombies who are hiding inside the coffins. The kids go and knock on their neighbors' door, hoping to get a peek inside. However, the pale boy who greets them, Trevor, doesn't let them in. The kids return home. Eventually, they see a news report in which several teenagers report seeing zombies. Kenny decides that he should start a team dedicated to hunting zombies. He doesn't really expect to find any zombies, but he thinks it'd be a good way to get attention and meet new kids.

One night, Kenny is in his room. He looks outside and sees a pale figure moving through the cemetery. Suddenly, Kenny recognizes the figure as Grandpa Mo. Kenny gets his father, and the duo rushes outside to retrieve the old man. When Grandpa Mo reenters the house, he said he dreamed that zombies dragged him outside. The following night, Kenny's zombie patrol meets up for the first time, and they venture into the graveyard near Kenny's house. Kenny and Alec quickly become separated from the other boys in their group. The duo finds Trevor wandering about the graves, but he says he's simply out for a walk. After he leaves, Kenny and Alec are attacked by a dog, but they use candy to distract it for enough time to escape. Once home, Kenny receives a message saying that the other members of the club got scared and went home.

Late at night, Kenny decides to sneak into his neighbors' house so he can find out if Grandpa Mo's theory is correct. Kenny enters through an unlocked door. He goes to the basement and spots three coffins, but Trevor walks in and is confused. Trevor allows Kenny to see what's in the coffins, revealing that they are just filled with books and clothes. Trevor says his parents had been the owners of a failed funeral parlor, and they were left with several unused coffins. Embarrassed, Kenny leaves.

The next night, Kenny's zombie patrol consists of only himself and Alec. The boys see several zombies surrounding Grandpa Mo in the cemetery. Kenny rushes into the graveyard and sees a tombstone with the name Mario Manzetti on it, and he tells Alec that the name belongs to his grandfather. Kenny assumes that his grandfather must secretly be a zombie. Kenny and Alec both go to their respective home. Kenny tells his parents that Grandpa Mo is out in the graveyard, but they won't listen to him about the zombies. Kenny goes to his room and some time passes. Suddenly, Grandpa Mo returns and says he can explain what Kenny saw earlier. Grandpa Mo reveals that he shared a name with his father, who died during World War II. Following his father's death, Grandpa Mo was haunted by dreams of zombies. Grandpa Mo reveals that the zombies in the graveyard let him go because he was so scrawny. Kenny's parents return home, and they're glad to see that Grandpa Mo is alright.

Halloween night comes, and Kenny can't even enjoy the party that's in his basement because he's frightened that real zombies might sneak in. Kenny moves a couch so Grandpa Mo will have a place to sit, but this reveals a trapdoor. The door springs open, and a zombie girl pops out and drags Kenny into the tunnel below. The undead girl, Ivy, insists that Kenny is Mario. Grandpa Mo enters the tunnel and explains that he is the real Mario. Ivy becomes distraught at seeing how old Mario is and figures he can't be the true Mario. Defeated, she stumbles away into the darkness, and the duo exits the tunnel.

Kenny forgets to cover the trapdoor, which lets a flood of zombies out. Remembering how they used candy to distract an attacking dog, Kenny and Alec use candy to coax the zombies back into the tunnel below, and the boys slide the couch back over the trapdoor. The partygoers look horrified, but Kenny plays off the whole ordeal as a prank done with the help of high school kids. Kids cheer and the party continues. Unexpectedly, Trevor and his parents appear at the entrance of the basement. Trevor states that he and his parents aren't zombies; they're vampires. The trio bears their fangs, and partygoers begin to panic.

From Zombie Halloween to The 12 Screams of Christmas[]

The cart heads into The Fourteen Stories of Most Wanted Alibis. Slappy told the guests, that the twelfth story is called "The 12 Screams of Christmas". Slappy said, "Karru Marri Odonna Lomo Molonu Karrano". After that, the cart went into the gate of the twelfth story called "The 12 Screams of Christmas". When the gate opens, Slappy says, "Cock your guns!"

Abe Marcus and his family have moved into a bigger house after previously living in a small cottage. The kids are excited to celebrate Christmas in the new house. While exploring the backyard, Abe and Ned discover a broken-down shack. Inside they find a wasp's nest, which they poke and accidentally unleash the wasps inside. They run away and the wasps quickly leave. They celebrate their victory over the wasps with a dance, but Flora joins in their dancing and falls down the well in the backyard. The family tries to get her out, but to no avail, causing Flora to scream "Get me out!" twelve times.

Kate Welles is walking home in order to rehearse a play with her friend Jack Hopper, but she has to take a shortcut through a creepy cemetery. The last time she did so, she discovered she has the power to see ghosts. When she told her classmates about this, Kate's "frenemy" Courtney Smith made fun of her and gave her the nickname Ghost Girl and everyone mocks her for it. She sees ghosts in the cemetery again, but Jack shows up before they can do anything to her.

The play is a scary Christmas play created by their music teacher Mr. Piccolo called The Twelve Screams of Christmas. which centers around a family whose house is haunted by ghosts. Kate wants the lead role but has to compete with Courtney, who also wants the part. They meet up at school the next day for auditions, and before Courtney tries out, Piccolo asks Kate to go to his office and get his clipboard. She does so but before she can leave, the door closes on her and it is locked.

She is eventually rescued by Jack, who says that Courtney told them that Kate left and Kate assumes that Courtney locked her in. Kate runs back to the auditorium to strangle Courtney, but the two end up falling down a trapdoor. They are knocked out and after Kate has a dream about a classmate being a ghost, they come to. Piccolo scolds the girls for fighting and gives the lead role to Kate's friend Carol-Ann. They are upset, but Kate is glad she is still able to be in the chorus, as long as they don't fight.

Mr. Piccolo has the kids rehearse the play in a creepy old house in order to get the right creepy atmosphere. He tells them the story of the Marcus Family and talks about how the family could not rescue Flora and that is rumored that they still haunt the house, waiting for someone to bring Flora back. He also reveals he is a direct descendant of the family and that his play is inspired by the story. While they are practicing a song, Kate notices the ghosts of Abe and Ned staring at her from across the room. She stops herself from screaming, the kids tell her they will be back.

That night, Kate hears a voice coming from the well, whispering for help. She goes outside and looks down it and thinks she sees a red cap down there. Before she run back, Abe and Ned appear and hold her back. They tell her that she will be their replacement for Flora, so they finally have a family Christmas again. Mr. Piccolo appears, locking for Kate before they can do anything to her. The next day, the twins appear again during practice and she screams about, but once again no one can see them. She runs off and hears voices coming from a room. She goes in and discovers Abe and Ned, along with their parents, Aaron and Peg.

They hold her captive and forced her to partake in their Christmas traditions, to replace Flora. First, they want Kate to sit on the lap of a skeleton dressed as Father Christmas and after she refuses, they force her to eat dinner, which consists of a turkey that is all bones and a bowl full of mouse heads. They start to give out presents but when Kate tells them she doesn't have one for them, they get angry and declare she must be punished.

They try to throw her out the window but she is able to hold onto the gutter and lower herself to the grown. The ghosts float down and start to throw her down the well but Kate offers to help them rescue Flora from the well if they let her go. She remembers that Piccolo's play ended with the family being able to get Flora out by screaming "come up!" twelve times and think this could work for real. This works but she only floats up halfway, and she must be pulled out.

Kate can't reach her so when Courtney appears, looking for her, she requests her help in holding her over the well so she can reach Flora and pull her out. Courtney reluctantly agrees and with her help, Kate is able to pull Flora out. She reunites with her family as they have a tearful reunion. Flora allows Courtney to see her so she can thank her but runs away screaming. The other kids come out to see her screaming, and mock her, dubbing her the new Ghost Girl.

Happy to have reunited the family and be free of Courtney's mockery, she goes home after the weekend. However, when she finds Flora in her room, she was followed her home and tells Kate that she wants to stay with her instead of her family, as she is upset they left her in a well for so long. She sits in Kate's bed and asks where she will sleep.

From The 12 Scream of Christmas to Trick or Trap[]

The cart heads into The Fourteen Stories of Most Wanted Alibis. Slappy told the guests, that the thirteenth story is called "Trick or Trap". Slappy said, "Karru Marri Odonna Lomo Molonu Karrano". After that, the cart went into the gate of the thirteenth story is called "Trick or Trap". When the gate opens, Slappy says, "Cock your guns!"

Scott Harmon and his friend Amanda Gold are very easily frightened. Scott is so easily scared, even his nine-year-old sister, Rita, enjoys scaring him. At school, Scott is usually terrorized by a pair of twin bullies named Mickey and Morty Klass. Scott and Amanda have decided to visit a local haunted house in order to become less cowardly, which is located next to a graveyard. The two kids walk up to the door of the house but are interrupted by Mickey and Morty.

They drag Scott and Amanda away from the house and force Scott and Amanda to walk through the nearby graveyard. While in the graveyard Mickey and Morty's friend, Kenji Kuroda, scares Amanda and Scott by pretending to be a zombie. Once Kenji, Mickey, and Morty leave, Scott and Amanda decide they want revenge. Scott and Amanda both leave the graveyard. When Scott gets home, Rita informs him that the Klass brothers had filmed Scott and Amanda getting scared in the graveyard. The Klass brothers put the video on YouTube.

The next day at school, Scott attempts to pants Mickey but instead, Scott is pantsed by Kenji. The following Saturday, Scott, and Amanda once again visit the haunted house. The kids sneak into the house and hear strange and worrying sounds. Right before Scott and Amanda leave the house, Scott sees a wooden box and takes it with him. Scott and Amanda run back to Scott's house and go to his room. Amanda warns Scott not to open the box he found, but Scott feels uncontrollably compelled to open the box. When he opens it, a purple mist comes out. They look inside the opened box, and they find a red scarf. Upon closer inspection, they find that the scarf is wrapped around a wooden mask. Scott says that the mask looks like a death mask.

The mask has a small face protruding from its forehead. Rita and Amanda both tell Scott that he should try on the mask, and Scott is unable to resist the urge to put the mask on his face. When Scott looks through the mask, everything appears distorted, as if underwater. Amanda leaves, and Scott goes downstairs for dinner. At dinner, Scott's mom has prepared very strange food: cow tongue, oyster soup, and slugs! His mom insists that the foods she has prepared are Scott's favorites. While Scott's mom is in the other room, Scott and Rita begin fighting. Scott wishes Rita had never been born, and she disappears in a puff of smoke. Then, Scott hears Rita's voice and he feels the mask being removed from his face. Scott was still in his room, Amanda hadn't left, and Rita was still alive. Scott hides the mask in his closet.

Scott goes downstairs for dinner, and his mom tells him that Aunt Ida will be visiting soon. The next day is school picture day. When Scott is walking to school, he is caught by Kenji, Mickey, and Morty. They drag Scott to the graveyard and throw him in an open grave. Scott gets covered in mud and has to go home to get new clothes. Later in the day, when Scott has returned from school, he finds an old woman with white hair and a gold tooth digging through his dresser. Scott assumes this must be Aunt Ida. The woman says that she has to go, so she leaves. Scott's mom comes home and Scott tells her about Aunt Ida, but Scott's mom says that Aunt Ida wouldn't be able to visit.

When Scott goes to sleep, he dreams that the old lady returns to his room. In the dream, the woman is searching through Scott's room and turns into a crow. The next morning, Scott finds a black feather in his room. Later in the day, Scott, Amanda, and Rita go back to the haunted house. They are preparing to scare the Klass brothers and Kenji. Scott says that he is going to invite the bullies to a very scary Halloween party. Scott is planning on making the house look haunted by using props and recordings of scary sounds. When the three bullies are all in the house, Scott is going to lock them in. Once he locks them in, Rita, disguised as a ghost, will come out and scare the bullies. After Scott, Amanda, and Rita finish decorating the abandoned house, they notice that the window that they had opened earlier was now closed. The three of them hear a voice asking them to stay and they run away. While running away from the house, they are startled by Kenji, Mickey, and Morty. Scott dares the three bullies to come to the old abandoned house on Halloween for a party.

On Halloween night, Scott and Amanda are at the haunted house. The two friends have already finished decorating the house earlier in the week. Rita is hiding upstairs. Kenji, Mickey, and Morty come overdressed as skeletons. All five kids downstairs hear a ghostly scream from upstairs. Scott and Amanda don't remember planning it. Then, dozens of ghostly figures begin floating down the stairs and disappearing. They see a skeleton outside and hear more unexpected sounds. Kenji, Mickey, and Morty eventually admit that they had removed Scott's scary surprises and replaced them with different scares.

However, all the kids become scared when they see the death mask float downstairs by itself. The kids become surrounded by a purple mist and an old lady, the one that had been in Scott's house, approaches them. The woman says that her name is Lillian. Scott apologizes for taking the mask, but Lillian says that Scott and the others must keep her company forever. She also says that she was trapped in the mask and Scott freed her by opening the wooden box. When Mickey and Morty try to escape, Lillian sets their ears on fire. Lillian's spirit is connected to the mask, so in order to be completely free from it, someone else must "live" inside of the mask.

When Lillian tries to put the mask on Scott, Scott instead grabs the mask and puts it on her. The ghost disappears and the five kids leave the house. Then Scott and Amanda remember that Rita is upstairs. Scott goes back to the house. Scott can't find her and rushes home. He finds Rita in his house and asks her how she escaped, but she says she didn't. Scott then sees that his sister has a gold tooth, which looks just like the one that Lillian had.

From Trick or Trap to The Haunter[]

The cart heads into The Fourteen Stories of Most Wanted Alibis. Slappy told the guests, that the last story is called "The Haunter". Slappy said, "Karru Marri Odonna Lomo Molonu Karrano". After that, the cart went into the gate of the last story is called "The Haunter". When the gate opens, Slappy says, "Cock your guns!"

The book begins with a message from R. L. Stine. He welcomes the reader to his office and starts to talk about the wanted posters on the walls. One poster features a creature that Mr. Stine addresses as "The Haunter". He explains that a boy named Sammy Baker was at one point terrorized by this spirit.

Sammy is currently in the middle of a school assembly, and the mayor is giving a boring speech. Sammy reveals that he is about to do something crazy in front of the whole school. Sammy then proceeds to walk onstage and begins dancing wildly on stage. Sammy doesn't have a choice; he had to dance!

Three weeks earlier, Sammy is in Miss Flake's sixth grade. Miss Flake assigns her students a Halloween themed research projects. There are four project topics, so the class is going to be divided into four groups. Sammy is placed in the group that was assigned the topic "Are Haunted Houses Real?" The other members of his group are Bill "Buzzy" Buzzner (Sammy's best friend), Rubin Rubino (Sammy's archenemy), Summer Magee (the girl that Sammy has a crush on), Shamequa Shannon, Todd Garcia, and Misty Rogers. Sammy isn't happy that his group has to research haunted houses. Sammy is easily frightened and hates being scared.

The next day, Sammy is walking to Rubin's house for a group meeting. He passes the abandoned "Marple House", a house that is rumored to be haunted by the ghost of a boy who was struck by lightning. Sammy thinks that he sees a face in one of the windows. Frightened, Sammy runs to Rubin's house. During this meeting, the kids agree that they should spend Halloween night in the Marple House. Shameka says that her dad has ghost hunting equipment that they can use. Everyone in his group assumes that Sammy will be too scared to go, but Sammy assures them that he will go. Later that night, Sammy has a nightmare about the ghost in the house.

On Halloween night, Sammy and Buzzy go to Marple House together. When they get there, they see a light glowing in the upstairs window. Sammy pulls out his camera to record the event. When he finishes filming, an unidentifiable force hits him, causing him to drop and break his camera. Eventually, Rubin, Shamequa, Summer, and Todd arrive, so they decide to enter the house. The kids all crawl through a window. They soon begin setting up their ghost detecting equipment and recording equipment.

They are startled when Misty arrives at the house late. The kids get bored and want to go home, but Sammy hears a voice. The group decides to check the recorder. On it, they hear a creepy voice telling them that they won't be able to leave the house alive. Later, when they try to replay the message, they can no longer hear the voice. The group then hears a scream inside the room, so they decide to leave. However, Sammy begins to feel incredibly cold and is unable to move for a minute. When Sammy regains his ability to move, the group decides to leave despite not having any evidence.

A few days later, Sammy is in class. While Mrs. Flake is talking, Sammy suddenly hears a voice in his head tell him to do jumping jacks on the table. Sammy doesn't want to do this, but for some reason, he is unable to resist the urge to start jumping on the table. Over the next two days, the voice tells Sammy to do many more crazy things, such as interrupting the mayor's speech. Each time Sammy does what the voice says, he gets in more trouble. Eventually, the voice tells Sammy to do a cartwheel into the spaghetti pan in the cafeteria. This causes him to be sent home. On his way home, the voice tells him to climb a tree. Sammy gets stuck in the tree, and a neighbor has to call 911. The voice tells Sammy that it wants to kill him so they can have more fun together.

Sammy is incredibly scared by this message. The voice reveals that he died in Marple House and that he is lonely. Sammy goes home and tells his parents about the voice, but they don't have time to listen because they are going to a banquet. The next day when Sammy goes back to school, the voice tells him to dance on the roof of the school. He does this, but he falls. He would have died had he not landed on the principal. Sammy is once again kicked out of school. He then decides to go to Marple House in order to get the ghost out of his mind.

When he gets there, the voice refuses to leave. While inside the house, Sammy sees an ominous door swing open. The voice says it is a door between life and death, and he forces Sammy through it. When Sammy goes through the door, he is submerged in darkness. When he emerges from the darkness, he is a ghost. He is now able to see the ghost boy. The young-looking ghost boy says that he is Benjamin Marple. The two of them go back to Sammy's school and spend the rest of the day forcing Rubin to do crazy things.

After one day, Sammy decides that he no longer wants to be a ghost, so he heads back to the Marple House. Sammy thinks that going back through the door might bring him back to life, but Benjamin doesn't want that to happen. Benjamin grabs Sammy, but Sammy manages to pull both of them through the door. Sammy is in darkness once moor but manages to escape. Sammy is alive once more. Sammy's parents talk to the principal of Sammy's school and convince him to allow Sammy back, so Sammy returns the next day.

In the middle of class, Mrs. Flake introduces a new student named Benjamin Marple. When Sammy pulled Benjamin through the door, he helped Benjamin regain his life. Benjamin was unable to do this before because he was dead for too long. Later in the day, while Benjamin and Sammy are talking, Benjamin says that they should both go on the roof and start dancing again. Sammy is once again unable to resist the urge to obey. Benjamin says that it is because their minds were linked when they passed through the door. Sammy starts his dance and looks down to see Summer smiling at him.
